CultureBrew.Art (formerly DiverseTheatreBC)
Interim Registration Database

Your Information

CultureBrew.Art (formerly DiverseTheatreBC - [DTBC]) is a digital platform for Indigenous and racialized artists (IARA) who work in the professional performing arts sector (theatre, dance, opera, music, media arts). The central tool will be a searchable database of IARA members, whose artistic practice includes performance, directing, writing, design, stage management, and other industry professions, plus cultural expertise. The database will be accessed by vetted and approved subscribers, who will use it as a tool to specifically find IARA for employment and contract opportunities, as well as other IARA members wanting to connect with their peers.
CultureBrew.Art is currently under development by Visceral Visions, due to launch Fall 2019. In the interim, we have created this simplified app to collect IARA information for the database (the “App”). When CultureBrew.Art is ready, those registered in the App will receive a notice to create a more detailed professional profile, which will include uploading materials such as your resumé, profile picture, portfolio images, video and audio files, etc. CultureBrew.Art is free to IARA who register BEFORE CultureBrew.Art’s official launch; after the launch, a nominal annual fee may apply.
To register on the App and create your profile, you are required to provide your name, email address, cell phone number, and artistic discipline(s), as well as personal information including race/culture, gender, sexual orientation, D/deaf/disability/neurodiversity identification, professional associations, training, and marketable skills.
Information provided by you will not be used or disclosed by CultureBrew.Art for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with your consent or as required by law. To understand how we protect the personal information you provide to us, please refer to our privacy policy at
