APPLICATION: BC Health and Wellness Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Member

This position is available to youth in Grades 8 to 11 across BC. YAC members will provide a youth perspective to improve youth health and wellness (with an initial focus on vaping and tobacco use).

- About 10 virtual meetings, and 1 in-person meeting, per year
- An honorarium of $17.50 per hour will be provided
- Online training provided

We are looking for young people in every region of BC who are:
- Interested in improving youth health and wellness in their community
- Available around 2 hours per month to attend meetings and complete tasks
- Willing to share their ideas about how to support young people in BC

We particularly welcome Indigenous youth, LGBTQ2S+ youth, youth with a disability, youth in small communities, and visible minority youth to apply.
