JOB APPLICATION: Youth Research Assistant (Youth Research Academy)

Summary
​- Eight positions are available to youth ages 16–27 with government care experience. 
- Youth must live in BC and be able to work in Canada.
- Work will be office based at McCreary Centre Society (3552 East Hastings Street, Vancouver).

- Hours of work are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30–4:30PM with occasional work outside of these hours.
- Pay is $20.00 per hour.
- Training will be provided.

With support from McCreary staff you will work on youth health research projects focused on youth in and from government care. Upcoming YRA projects include working on an ongoing study about supporting youth's transition out of government care in BC, a project on fostering healthy relationships, as well as work with the 2023 BC Adolescent Health Survey and the 2023 Homeless Youth Survey.

There is a possibility of ongoing positions and project work.​

Qualifications/requirements
- Interest in community research
- Interest in youth health issues
- Able to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30–4:30PM at McCreary Centre Society (3552 East Hastings Street, Vancouver)
- No previous research or work experience needed
