TransLink is proposing four new seasonal bus routes to popular regional outdoor destinations, made possible through the 2025 Investment Plan. Metro Vancouver has beautiful natural spaces, and TransLink is working to provide more transit access to these popular locations. Delivering better access to nature is a part of TransLink’s 10-year Access for Everyone plan, and three of these destinations are not directly accessible by transit.
These proposed weekend and holiday routes would serve Belcarra Regional Park, Campbell Valley Regional Park, Centennial Beach (Boundary Bay Regional Park), and Golden Ears Provincial Park. TransLink is planning to launch these routes as early as summer 2026.
These proposed new routes and service improvements are the first of seven connections to regionally significant parks and beaches identified in the 2025 Investment Plan and are now in the planning phase. Keep your eyes open for additional information coming next year.
