Community Feedback - LIGHTING A PATH 2026

Lighting a Path was a temporary public art installation in Sway-a-Lana (Maffeo Sutton Park) from February 16 until March 16, 2026, coordinated by the City of Nanaimo in partnership with Snuneymuxw First Nation. This project, which featured the work of seven Snuneymuxw creators, offers a powerful example of how public art can honour the Land by illuminating stories of place, memory, and stewardship.
