*2) Event Details

*Draw date must be at least one day following the last date for ticket sales and cannot be on a weekend or holiday. Draw will be performed by the Rafflebox random draw generator between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and your United Way Raffle Chair will notify your main raffle contact of the winner on the same business day the draw is made. for a AGLC Prize Draw Licence request to be considered, the following requirements must be met.

AGLC Regulations stipulate that the overall value of the prize/s (cash or merchandise) must be a minimum of 20% of the total ticket value of the licence. E.G. if your prize is valued at $600, the maximum licence you can apply for, and raise for United Way of Calgary and Area, is $3,000
The prize must be pre-purchased and paid for. By completing this application you are confirming that you have possession of the prizes available to win and the description is accurate. Funds raised from the raffle will not be refunded to cover the cost of the prize
The minimum prize amount must be valued at $600
Your AGLC licence will be calculated to total to the maximum amount possible as per the AGLC 20% rule. E.G. If your prize is valued at $1,000 your licence will be for $5,000, maximizing your fundraising potential for this raffle. Online ticket sales will automatically close once the maximum sales have been reached

One ticket drawn, one winner. Provide description of prize or each item in prize package. This will be published on your customized raffle page where participants purchase their tickets

Multiple prizes, multiple winners. List each prize that a ticket will be drawn for to win. Must include each individual prize value.

Based on research and our experience, tickets amounts and ticket packages with the following percentages have been most successful in selling tickets. Your total AGLC licence, based on the value of your prize, will have the following ticket packages available for purchase online.

1 ticket for $5 = 5% of total ticket packages
10 tickets for $10 = 15% of total ticket packages
50 tickets for $20 = 50% of total ticket packages
200 tickets for $50 = 30% of total ticket packages

DRAW RULES:

1. Players must reside in Alberta, 18 years or older, and use a major credit card or Visa Debit. Credit cards used for payment must have an Alberta Address.

2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate as indicated in question #10 of this form

3.Ticket sales will end on date indicated in question #2 table at time specified with the draw taking place at United Way - 105 12th Ave SE, Calgary, AB, T2G1A1

4. For prize raffles with one ticket drawn the winner will receive the entire prize/s outlined in question #5.

5. For prize raffle with multiple prizes and multiple tickets drawn. The prize/s will be drawn in order of the least retail value up to and including the Grand prize. Each ticket is eligible for the prize/s.

5. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, there will be no cash substitutes.

6. The winner(s) will be determined by a random draw generator. The winning raffle draw number shall be determined from the pool of sold raffle ticket numbers. United Way will notify the main raffle contact of the winners and the main raffle contact will notify the raffle winners within 5 business days following the draw to make arrangements to recieve their prize.

7. Draw results will also be announced by the participating organizations.

8. If the prize remains unclaimed for more than 90 days from the date of the draw, a request will be made to AGLC for a decision regarding the disbursement of the prize

9. By playing you consent to having your name, winning numbers published.

10. The person(s) drawing the winning number must not hold a ticket for that draw. Volunteers and family members not involved in the draw are eligible to participate.
