Cowichan Valley Regional District - Regional District of Nanaimo Interregional Transit Service

Note: This survey was originally released in March 2020. However, due to COVID-19, it was deactivated and postponed to give residents time to prioritize their immediate needs and adjust. Now, in order to continue to plan for future transit needs, online engagement resumes with the unchanged goal of improving connections throughout and between regions.

We want to hear from you!
BC Transit, the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD), and the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN), are seeking input on proposed interregional service expansions. The need for improved interregional transit service between the CVRD and RDN was identified in the Cowichan Valley Region Transit Future Plan (2012), the Regional District of Nanaimo Transit Future Plan (2014), and the South Nanaimo Local Area Transit Plan (2019).

This survey will help inform the design of this proposed service by gathering your feedback on the origin and final destination, preferred trip times, and service span of the route.  It should only take about 5-15 minutes to complete.
The personal information requested for this survey will be used solely for the purpose of determining what kind of transit services could be offered in your area.
