Considerations
Tour locations must be located in the Vancouver area, either from a walking distance from the Vancouver Wall Center, or by vehicle.
We encourage Housing Tour proposals from a range of options and focuses, including housing providers, service providers or other connected areas in the Vancouver area. Buildings that have recently completed some interesting retrofits or updates, or new buildings with intentional design elements built in. Service providers with unique service delivery, program offerings or community environments, are all examples of successful tour locations. Tours designed with the ability for attendees to engage with your program, or see an operational delivery, or interact with a retrofit system are always the most successful.
Tour descriptions are limited to 100 words due to space limitations in our promotional materials. Descriptions are subject to editing by BCNPHA. We strongly encourage you to not stray too far away from the description in the delivery, so that tour participants have reasonable expectations of what they might learn from your organization. The deadline or submitting a proposal to host a Tour at the Housing Central Conference in 2024 is April 5th, 2024.
