Rossland Recreation Summer Camp Pre-Registration

To promote inclusivity and equitability in summer camp registration (and to avoid the "summer camp scramble"), Rossland Rec is instituting a new system. Rather than having a set time to try to get spots for your children (ahh, stressful!), families are given the opportunity to pre-register for camps, rating weeks of summer camp in their order of preference/need.  Siblings are automatically selected for the same weeks of summer camps, but not necessarily the same groups within those weeks.

  1. Families can only pre-register their own children.
  2. Families must fill out a separate form for each child.
  3. Children must be 6 years or older on or before Dec 31, 2024 to attend summer camp.
  4. Children must be 12 years old or younger to attend summer camp as a camper.
  5. Children who are 11-13 years old have the option to be a "Leader-in-Training" at summer camp, to help out and gain leadership skills for a reduced summer camp rate (50% off). They will still participate in all summer camp activities as if they are a regular camper, with some increased responsibility (ie. helping younger kids transition between activities). If your child would like to apply to be an LIT at summer camp, have them fill out Part 2 of the form.
Camps cost $225 for the week and run from 8:45am - 4:30pm. Reduced rates are going to be available for qualifying families through the Rossland Recreation Bursary.
