Locals Live 2025 Application Form

The District of Invermere is holding an open call for local bands and musicians to take the stage at Pothole Park this summer 2025, in Downtown Invermere! Performing at the Locals Live free concert series!

Local bands and Musicians are invited to apply to perform at one of nine summer concerts to be scheduled for Wednesday nights in July and August from 6:30pm–8:00 pm in Pothole Park. Submissions will be assessed based on quality and originality of performance as well as audience interaction and engagement. This call is open to all musicians and bands, although preference will be given to residents of the Columbia Valley.

All genres are encouraged to apply and there is no fee to do so. Artists will also be included in a pool of performers for the year to play at various events such as Canada Day, Mountain Al Fresco, Valley Appreciation Day, Fall Fest and other special events.

If you would like to be considered for participation in the Locals Live Concert Series fill out our application form below, artist submissions are being accepted from now until Monday April 14th 2025 until 4pm. We will review the submissions, contact the bands and prepare the line-up!

*Our budget is $100 per on-stage performer to a maximum of $500 plus $200 toward your PA system and crew.*
*You will be paid after the show.
*There is no gear provided. *You will have access to 120 volts of power. *
*All acts must be fully self-contained with a proper PA system. 
*We do not have sufficient funding to provide accommodations.
*We will provide the stage, venue and promotion of event.
* Event will be cancelled due to inclement weather and other circumstances. This will be discussed with bands that are chosen to perform*
